Mission and Purpose:
Rivers of Grace Ministry provides support, care, education, and discipleship to teenage girls and young women
who are pregnant, raising their children alone, and at risk of being homeless and other single mothers who are
experiencing crisis situations.

Our goal is to empower these women and teen girls to walk in freedom and discover their true identity in
Christ and come to know His abundant grace, hope, love, and peace so they and their children can have a  
brighter future.

Our Vision:
* Meet the emotional and spiritual needs of single mothers, their children, and those who have         
experienced physical or sexual abuse or other crisis situations.
* Offer bible study, discipleship, mentoring, and support group opportunities to these young women to help   
them discover their true identity and freedom in Christ.
* Offer pregnant women and new mothers help with obtaining resources and assisting them with baby clothes   
and other baby items. Assist mothers with clothing for interviews/jobs and clothes for their older children.
* Offer outreach support to area ministries with similar visions and organize community-wide events for moms

Our Future Vision Includes:
* To one day, build Oasis House, a large transitional maternity home and empowerment program, free of
charge for pregnant, homeless young women, 14-28 and their children with on-site counseling, day care, a
school, and part-time medical resources.
* To offer residents of Oasis House and area mothers counseling, support, parenting and life skills
training, financial freedom classes, and other skills necessary for self-sufficiency.
* Provide support, tutoring, and educational opportunities for the women of Oasis House to complete high  
school and college or career training.
* Provide counseling, support, and programs for children of the women at Oasis House.

* Are you a teen girl or young woman facing what seem like impossible circumstances?
*Are you pregnant and unmarried or alone?
*Have you experienced physical or sexual abuse?
*Do you feel scared, hopeless, and alone, not sure of your future?

My life has been filled with each of these situations and there was a time when I felt very alone and scared, not
knowing what my future would be. I have 'known' God all of my life, but it wasn't until I embraced all that He
did for me and truly understood His love for me that my mourning turned into dancing, laughter, and an
abundant life full of His grace and peace.

Hi, my name is Michelle Rodriguez and I have lived through each of these circumstances and more. God has given
me a wonderful vision to help other women and girls facing the same situations He has carried me through over
the last 30 years.

After the tragic and unexpected death of my mother when I was 15, my life took a major turn with suicide
attempts and a nervous breakdown at 16, a dangerous and abusive marriage at 20, my father's sudden death at
22, having to flee my beautiful home state of California at 26, and becoming a single mom with next to nothing
at 27. With God's amazing grace I now have a wonderful teenage son, two Master's Degrees, and am busy
teaching and following the call of God on my life.

Through my maturing walk with Christ, biblical teaching from amazing pastors, guest speakers, women's
ministry and experiencing trials, tragedies, and triumphs, I have come to know my true identity in Christ.

Our greatest desire is to help women who are experiencing abuse, feelings of hopelessness, pregnant
single women and teen girls become victors in life rather than victims. I truly believe that your
circumstances in life do not define who you are and if you embrace all God has promised, He will
transform your life and turn your mourning into dancing. HE DID FOR ME!!!
